Workflow & Templates

PreviousNext

Seven stages from idea to measurement, the definition of done, content file naming and frontmatter, and the content-brief, post and weekly-review templates.

Stages

StageWhat happens
1. IdeaFrom a customer question, an objection, news, research, product use or the idea inbox. Tie it to a business goal
2. ResearchAt least one trusted source. Record what the evidence says and doesn't. Check the research policy
3. BriefAudience, country, funnel stage, problem, one message, product bridge, CTA, KPI — on the content-brief template
4. DraftCore copy first, then derive the platform versions. A clear visual direction — never "a nice image"
5. ReviewScientific/source review, product truth, language and identity, CTA, link and UTM
6. PublishPublish on schedule, answer relevant comments, move any sales question to WhatsApp or the CRM
7. MeasureAt 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. Record the kind of audience, not just the number. Turn objections into new ideas

Definition of done

A piece isn't ready unless it has:

  • One persona.
  • One idea.
  • A documented source wherever there's a claim.
  • A product claim allowed by the Claim Registry.
  • One CTA.
  • A visual direction or shot list.
  • A specific platform version.
  • A UTM wherever there's a link.
  • An expected KPI.

Idea inbox

Drop any raw idea without tidying it, under: raw ideas · customer questions · objections from sales calls · news and research to review · product moments worth a video. At the weekly review, good ideas move to the editorial calendar or get a content brief.

Content library

All the real content we write lives in one library, organised by status: Ideas · Researching · Drafts · Review · Approved · Scheduled · Published · Measured.

  • Start every piece by copying the content-brief template, then name it with the convention above.
  • The first three pieces: Why do students forget after the exam? · Five signs a school has outgrown paper · Tour: your whole school in one place.
